Rainbow Tears
This piece was constructed with clear acrylic that was then coated with an iridescent film. High quality teardrop suncatchers hanging from intricate gold chains which were dangled in varying lengths from the acrylic lily pad-like circles. A powerful spotlight was strategically placed beneath the artwork that had different colored film to insinuate a vibrant transition through the colors of the rainbow.
Task
This piece is an ode to the struggles as well as beauty of people finding their true identity.
