Graphic Design Murals

Liberation Coffee House

Liberation Coffee House is a 1,600-square-foot café and community space operated by graduates of the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s intergenerational Culinary Arts program. It launched in 2019 to prepare LGBTQ youth and seniors from the Center for employment in the restaurant and hospitality industries.

Task

To assist Liberation Coffee House in becoming self-sufficient with their own design work. I helped build their social media presence via digital templates, creative designs, and inspiration mood boards. I also created a style guide that their interns could use to make sure the brand guidelines stayed cohesive no matter who was designing creative assets. At the close of the project I was asked to design a wall mural that would speak to how they give back to the community in a way that was aesthetically simplistic, honored their branded color palette, and was coffee themed.
